Don't Break
My Rice Bowl

Robert H. Dodd
1936 - 1987

Working with the Words...
USAID Agricultural Consultant, Robert H. Dodd, is the primary author of Don't Break My Rice Bowl. He wrote the manuscript in 1983. It was then put aside, not quite complete. His daughter, Patricia, rediscovered the writing over 35 years later. It took two more years for the co-authors to complete the novel, add an 'extra ending' plus some non-fiction historical content.

'If you want a happy ending, that depends, of course, on where you stop your story.'
