'Eddie’ is a documentary that follows Robert Dodd's daughter, Patricia, as she rediscovers her late father’s then-unpublished Vietnam War fictional memoir during the pandemic.

What begins as a goal to publish his manuscript becomes a deeply personal journey led by the words on the page. Blending animation with documentary, Patricia travels through Vietnam and across the US to meet those who knew her father and others connected to the war. Using Don't Break My Rice Bowl as her guide, she uncovers the enduring impact of conflict on the land and its people, as well as her father’s life story from an unexpected, fresh perspective.
